A-League: Corica set for Sydney reunion

Auckland FC coach Steve Corica will be looking to get one over on his former club Sydney FC, when the two sides clash on Sunday.

Corica enjoyed Premiership and Championship success as both a player and coach with Sydney FC, but is now at the helm of the A-League’s latest new club.

A top-six finish in their debut season would be a huge success for Auckland, and they can be backed at 3.00 to make it.

Sydney have their eyes on the top prize and under the leadership of Ufuk Talay, can be backed at 6.00 to win the grand final.

Corica out to spring surprise

12 Months ago Steve Corica was in charge of Sydney FC and looking to get them back in the hunt for silverware.

However a lot can change in football and Corica is now in charge of and Auckland side looking to establish themselves in the A-League.

They got the season off to a perfect start last week with a 2-0 home win over Brisbane Roar, but now face a much tougher test.

However with confidence high and backed by another sell-out crowd at Go Media Stadium, Auckland will believe that anything is possible.

Corica will have a certain amount of inside knowledge on Sydney and how they tick, so is the perfect coach to architect their downfall.

Logan Rogerson got the goal that sealed the 2-0 win against Brisbane, and he can be backed at 3.60 to score again at anytime.

Sydney wait on Costa

Sydney FC will check on the fitness of Brazilian sensation Douglas Costa, who is suffering with a tight hamstring.
