A-League: Davila key to seeing off Glory

Macarthur FC and Perth Glory both head into Sunday’s A-League clash on the back of much-needed victories.

Macarthur edged back into sixth spot courtesy of a victory over Brisbane Roar, and they are priced at 1.80 to go on and play finals this season.

As for Glory, they pulled off a huge win away at Western Sydney Wanderers as they look to avoid the wooden spoon.

Glory are priced at 3.00 to finish bottom, but if they continue to play with the same spirit that was on show at CommBank Stadium, that will not happen.

There could even be a chance to push for the top six, but more wins will be needed, and three points against the Bulls would be a boost.

Davila on fire for Bulls

Macarthur are unbeaten in the last four games, but they had drawn three of them until winning 3-1 at Brisbane Roar in midweek.

They have had no issues scoring goals in the last two games, as they also fought out a 3-3 draw with Western United.

Ulises Davila has been the man of the moment, scoring four of them, and he is priced at 2.60 to score at anytime on Sunday.

The Bulls have beaten Glory on the last two occasions at Campbelltown Stadium, and they have only slipped to one defeat at home all season.

Glory have conceded 29 goals this term and Macarthur will be hoping to add to that.

Over 2.5 goals in the clash can be backed at 1.40, while both teams to score is also available at 1.44.

Glory eye back-to-back wins

Perth Glory should take a huge amount of confidence from their shock 2-1 win at Western Sydney Wanderers last weekend.

Glory had not won away from home in 18 months, and they will now be hoping to make it two in a row against Macarthur.

They have beaten them twice in the last three matches, but both games were at home in Western Australia, and Sunday will be a tougher test.

However they do have Adam Taggart, who continues to score goals and provide a constant threat.

The striker has eight goals for the season and is priced at 6.50 to score the first of the game.

Stefan Colakovski is also a player that knows where the back of the net is, and he can be backed at 4.33 to score at anytime.

If Glory could get on a roll, they are priced at 11.00 to make the top six.
