A-League: Davila the man in form for Bulls

Macarthur have the chance to jump over Western Sydney Wanderers and into fourth spot on the ladder if they pick up the three points on Sunday.

The Bulls are in fifth place, two points behind the Wanderers, but have played a game more.

A win for the home side will see them swap places, and Macarthur can be backed at 1.90 to go on and finish in the top six this season.

The Wanderers are available at 1.25, but Marko Rudan’s side began the season with high hopes of winning the title.

They are four points behind Wellington Phoenix in top spot, and are priced at 5.50 to win the minor premiership.

Sunday’s clash is huge for both sides and goals look to be on the menu.

Bulls on unbeaten run

Macarthur are unbeaten in the last five games, but four of them have been draws, including the home clash with Perth Glory which finished 2-2 last weekend.

They also drew the previous two home games against Newcastle Jets and Western United, with the latter ending 3-3.

The last two games between the two teams at Campbelltown Sports Stadium have also ended in draws, 2-2 and 1-1.

Another high-scoring draw could be on the cards and 2-2 is priced at 11.00.

Draw or no draw, more goals could be on the cards against the Wanderers and over 2.5 goals in the game can be backed at 1.47.

Ulises Davila is a man in form for Macarthur having scored five goals in his three games, including a hat-trick against Western United.

The forward is priced at 3.00 to score at anytime, or 7.50 to grab the first goal of the game.

Wanderers target back-to-back wins

Western Sydney Wanderers continue to win one, lose one and will be keen to pick up back-to-back wins for the first time in a while.

They were far from convincing last week, but did manage to land all three points in a 1-0 win at Western United.

Their away form has been solid this season and they have won three of the games 1-0, including the last two.

Rudan’s side also boast the tightest defence in the A-League this season when conceding just 14 goals, but only Western United have scored less than them.

The Wanderers have 22 goals and could do with boosting the ‘goals for’ column if they are to go on and win some silverware.

New signing Marcus Antonsson could also do with a few more. The striker has five goals in 14 games, and is 2.50 to score at anytime.
