Fremantle need are in need of a response to their AFL opening week loss to Geelong when Sydney visit Optus Stadium on Sunday.
Hopes and expectations were high heading into the new season, but they were brought down to earth with a heavy defeat at Geelong.
Now they have the chance to bounce back in front of a packed Optus and will also unveil new signing Shai Bolton for the first time.
Sydney are also in need of a win after losing their opening two games of the season.
Last season’s beaten grand finalists could still be suffering from that loss against Brisbane Lions and are in danger of starting the season 0-3.
It is very early days, but you get the sense Sunday’s clash is a massive one for both teams and is one neither can afford to lose.
Fremantle are in need of a boost and new signing Bolton could be the player to provide it.
The versatile Bolton missed the defeat against Geelong with a leg injury, but has been passed fit to make his official debut against Sydney.
The former Richmond Tigers star can be backed at 12.00 to kick the first goal of the game, or 1.17 to score at anytime.
The last time these two sides met, Freo pulled off a shock one-point win in a thriller at the SCG in Round 16 and they will be hoping for something more convincing this time, but any kind of win will do for the Dockers.
Freo can be backed at 5.50 to win by 13-24 points.
Sydney have slipped to defeats against Hawthorn and the Lions in their first two games and can ill-afford another reverse.
Now led by new head coach Dean Cox, the Swans have suffered with a lack of form and injuries heading into the clash with Freo.
They can, however, take heart from the fact they have beaten the Dockers on the last two visits to Optus Stadium.
The Swans won by 48 points last season, and 29 the season before that, but could find it tougher going in 2025.
A win by 1-12 points can be backed at 6.00.
Chad Warner, who comes from Western Australia and who has been heavily linked with a move to Freo, will be one to watch.
He has booted four goals already this season and is priced at 1.38 to kick another at anytime in the game.
