Greater Western Sydney will get a second opportunity to book their place in a preliminary final when they entertain Brisbane on Saturday night.
The Giants lost a thriller against arch rivals Sydney in the qualification final last weekend, and now need to pick themselves up for the clash against the Lions.
It is now do or die for both sides, with the loser seeing their season come to an end.
Greater Western Sydney can be backed at 7.00 to win the grand final, while the Lions are available at 8.00.
Both sides have the firepower to do it, and it is hard to separate them heading into the clash at ENGIE Stadium.
Brisbane should be buzzing after crushing Carlton in the elimination final, but the Giants will be hoping home advantage will give them the edge.
A place in the preliminary final against Geelong awaits the winner, and the stakes could not be higher.

Greater Western Sydney may have lost the qualifying final against the Swans, but there were plenty of positives to take out of the game.
They lost out by six points, but impressed nonetheless, winning the tackle-count 83-69. If they can do the same against the Lions, GWS will give themselves a great chance of getting the win.
The Giants have come out on top on two occasions already this season.
In round 22 they won by 18 points at the Gabba, and in round 7 they smashed the Lions by 54 points at Manuka Oval in Canberrra.
Those results will be forgotten as this is finals footy, however the Giants can be backed at 6.00 to win this latest meeting by 13-24 points.
Toby Greene will be a key player for the Giants, but will also be a closely marked man as the Lions attempt to nullify him.
Even so, the star midfielder can be backed at 10.00 to boot the first goal of the game.
Jesse Hogan will also be a huge threat after booting another three goals in the defeat to the Swans.
The forward is priced at 7.00 to kick the first goal of the game.
The Lions beat Carlton 99-71 in the elimination final, but a trip to take on GWS will be a much sterner test.
Brisbane have not ventured to ENGIE Stadium for four years, and have lost the last two games against the Giants.
Even so, they will hold no fear heading into Saturday’s clash. They will need to improve in front of goal though, as accuracy has been an issue for them.
Cam Rayner did manage to boot three goals against Carlton, and they could do with the same again.
Rayner can be backed at 1.42 to kick a goal at anytime.
Lachie Neale also collected 27 disposals against Carlton and is 1.65 to collect 25+ again on Saturday.
If it does turn out to be a close game, the Lions are 5.50 to win it by 1-12 points.
