Gold Coast v Adelaide: AFL Saturday Preview

Gold Coast and Adelaide both boast perfect winning records heading into Saturday’s Round 4 clash at People First Stadium.

Normally these two sides are much further down the ladder, but are flying high at this early stage.

The Suns have played two and won two in convincing fashion, while the Crows have also been very impressive, winning three from three.

It means they both have high hopes of kicking on and making the top eight come the end of the season.

The top-four showdown looks set to be a tight one that could go either way, but the Gold Coast will be hoping home advantage can help get them over the line.

Adelaide have already won at Essendon, so a trip to the Gold Coast is unlikely to bother them as confidence will be sky high.

Suns shining bright

The Gold Coast have kicked off the season with convincing wins over Melbourne and West Coast.

But even more impressive is the fact that both wins came on the road, and now they will play on home soil for the first time in 2025.

They piled on 120 points against Melbourne and 136 against West Coast, so will be high on confidence heading into Saturday.

It was tight in this fixture last season, with the Suns winning by just six points in Round 1, and it could be equally close again.

Gold Coast are priced at 6.00 to win by 1-12 points.

Ben King starred in front of goal against Melbourne when booting four goals, and is priced at 8.50 to kick the first of the game on Saturday.

Bailey Humphrey is also impressing, averaging 21.5 disposals, and is priced at 1.48 to collect 20+ plus against the Crows,

Crows flying high

Adelaide find themselves in the dizzy heights of second spot on the ladder after winning the opening three games.

They may have won at Essendon, but a trip to the Gold Coast will be their toughest test yet, having lost both the previous two visits.

The Crows have been winning their games by an average of 53 points, but it is expected to be a tight game on Saturday.

Just like the Suns, they are priced at 6.00 to win by 1-12 points, and would gladly take such an outcome.

Taylor Walker kicked four goals against North Melbourne last weekend, and is 1.17 to score at anytime.
