AFL: Suns and GWS eye away wins

Gold Coast Suns and Greater Western Sydney will be targeting their third wins on the bounce when they hit the road on Sunday.

It has been a strong start to the season for both sides, winning two from two, and they will be out to keep the good times rolling.

Gold Coast travel to take on the Western Bulldogs, while GWS must head to Perth to take on West Coast Eagles.

GWS are now the hot fancies at 5.50 to win the premiership, but there can be no room for complacency against the struggling Eagles.

In the third game to be played on Sunday, Richmond will be looking for their first win of 2024 when they entertain Ports Adelaide.

Suns look to keep shining

. What: Western Bulldogs v Gold Coast
. Where: Mars Stadium, Melbourne
. When: 12:00 (AEST), Sunday 24th March 2024
. How to watch: Kayo, Foxtel,
. Odds: Western Bulldogs 1.68, Gold Coast 2.20

Western Bulldogs need to bounce back after a 45-point defeat against Melbourne in their opening game of the season.

They have won two of the last three games against the Suns and need another here.

Aaron Naughton will also need to step up to the plate after failing to shine against Melbourne, and he is 10.00 to boot the first goal of the game.

The Suns are shining under new coach Damien Hardwick and can be backed at 5.50 to win by 1-12 points.

Tigers target first win

. What: Richmond v Port Adelaide
. Where: MCG, Melbourne
. When: 15:00 (AEST), Sunday 24th March 2024
. How to watch: Kayo, Foxtel,
. Odds: Richmond 2.70, Port Adelaide 1.47

Richmond have lost their opening two games, but can think themselves unlucky after they ran Carlton close last week.

They have also been hit by injuries, but have enough talent to record their first win of the season against the Power.

One such player is Noah Balta, who booted three goals against Carlton, and is priced at 1.25 to score at anytime.

Port Adelaide won with ease against West Coast last week, but will face a tougher test on Sunday.

However they can still be backed at 5.50 to win by 13-24 points.

Giants must avoid complacency

. What: West Coast v Greater Western Sydney
. Where: Optus Stadium, Perth
. When: 17:50 (AEST), Sunday 24th March 2024
. How to watch: Kayo, Foxtel, Channel 7
. Odds: West Coast 9.50, Greater Western Sydney 1.06

West Coast’s rebuild has been hit by the news that key forward Oscar Allen is facing a spell on the sidelines.

However they are boosted by the return of Elliot Yeo and Jeremy McGovern, with Yeo priced at 3.75 to produce 25+ disposals.

GWS have been in great form, but did slip up against West Coast in Perth last season, so there can be no complacency.

Toby Greene has been shining and is 9.00 to kick the first goal.
