AFL: Top trio battle for top four

Port Adelaide, Fremantle and Geelong will all be battling for a spot in the top four when they take to the field on Saturday.

Port are third on the ladder, but only on points differential, as Geelong in fifth are also on 52 points for the season.

Fremantle are just two points behind them both, making Saturday’s home clash against Geelong a huge one for both teams.

Port Adelaide, who are 1.91 to make the top four, need to make sure they pick up the win when they take on Melbourne at the MCG.

Essendon kept their top-eight hopes alive with a massive win over Fremantle and will look to back it up against Gold Coast.

And finally, North Melbourne will be looking for just their fourth win of the season when they entertain West Coast.

Melbourne on the other hand have lost the last three on the bounce to see their finals hopes slip by the wayside.

The Power are 5.00 to keep the good run going with a 13-24 point victory at the MCG.
