The son of Anahceeva has been competing at metro level in the main since winning at Moonee Valley prior to two solid efforts in New Zealand.
The eight-year-old returned this prep with a good fourth, having jumped at big odds for Morphettville’s Listed City Of Adelaide Handicap over 1529m earlier this month.
Jaylah Kennedy’s one-and-a-half-kilogram claim is a positive here, however, preference is for PRECIOUS CHARM, one of three runners for trainer Symon Wilde.
The mare has won twice from four starts this prep, including when saluting in a Benchmark 70 handicap over 1200m here on her return to action at the end of December.
The 2.70 selection registered her most recent victory when stepped up to 2000m for the Bet365 Edenhope Cup held on good going at Edenhope last month.
The switch to a wet track is no issue here, with the mare having been freshened since that Edenhope success.
The mare drops back in distance here, but has a top jockey in Linda Meech, also on board last time out, in the saddle.
The daughter of Per Incanto is the winner of three of her four previous starts at this venue and she looks up to recording her fourth win at this track.
The highlight at Narromine is the fifth race of the day, the 1300m Diggers Cup, an Open contest expected to take place on a heavy 10 surface.
The four-year-old Power Beau is expected to feature at the head of the betting as he goes in search of his fifth career win.
The gelding finished in mid-division when ninth, having jumped at $41 for a 1400m Class 5 contest at Scone on his penultimate start.
The son of Brazen Beau was beaten over eight-and-a-half-lengths in a Country Championships Wild Card event that day but returned to form with a second at Newcastle subsequently.
While Wayne Brown’s representative has won twice on soft going in the past, that Scone effort marked his first outing on a heavy surface.
Michael Heagney’s mount holds obvious claims despite a wide barrier here, however, preference is for FLORINO.
The son of Mikki Isle’s most recent victory saw him come home nearly three lengths clear of his six rivals in the 1280m Denman Cup at Muswellbrook in October.
The five-year-old was spelled following a third in a 1200m Benchmark 74 handicap at Tamworth two starts later.

The sixth at Quirindi is an interesting 1000m Benchmark 58 handicap expected to take place on a soft 6 track.
Brett Thompson’s five-year-old CUMBOOGLE arrives here in good form, having won both starts since returning from a prep.
The first of those saw him triumph by two-and-a-half-lengths in a 900m Benchmark 66 handicap held on a heavy surface at Wellington at the end of last month.
The 4.40 son of Outreach went on to complete a double when triumphing in a 1000m Benchmark 58 handicap at Orange earlier this month.
Jockey Zoe Hunt has built up a good rapport with the gelding, having been on board for both of those victories, and she can partner the gelding to a hat-trick of wins.
