The four-year-old won first up last prep when contesting a metro Class 3 handicap over 1000m at Randwick.
The gelding’s form tailed off some what following that triumph however and he was spelled following a last of fourteen over 1100m on a wet track at Wyong in January.
It’s unlikely the wet track was the issue that day with the gelding having won on heavy going in the past and he rates highly on his return to action.
However, the son of Capitalist looks opposable conceding weight with MAL COUPE preferred for trainer Stephen O’Halloran.
The three-year-old registered a runner-up finish over 1000m a Canberra when making his return to action in May.

Winona Costin knows the pick well having been on board for all three previous starts and she is set to ride once more.
An inside barrier in four is a positive in this contest and the son of Xtravagant looks capable of doubling his career tally.
A heavy 8 track is expected at Ipswich with the fourth race of the day an 800m Benchmark 58 handicap.
Dropping back in distance Revalene is expected to have his supporters on his third start back from a spell.
The four-year-old returned to action with a last of fourteen in a 1000m Benchmark 62 handicap at Sunshine Coast two month ago.
The gelding was freshened following that effort and showed up well when racing on the pace prior to fading in an 1100m Class 1 handicap here subsequently.
Tony Gollan’s representative has the services of Emily Lang here and while he rates highly BAD FOREST is the pick for the Jesse Townsend stable.
The son of Kobayashi resumed with a victory by just over a length when contesting an 800m Benchmark 65 handicap at Kilcoy in May.
While the selection failed to shine when beating just one rival home over 860m at Gatton subsequently that effort did come on good going.
The pick has demonstrated a preference for wet conditions in the past and he has been freshened since that Gatton effort.
Corey Sutherland’s two-kilogram claim is a positive in this contest and jumping from next to the rail his mount is taken to return to winning ways.
Later on the Ipswich card the concluding race is a 1350m Class 2 handicap.

Those efforts include a half-length second when contesting a track and trip Benchmark 65 handicap on his penultimate start.
The son of Capitalist raced on a wet track that day and while he has yet to race on heavy going underfoot conditions aren’t expected to pose an issue.
The four-year-old backed that course effort up with a good second in a metro Benchmark 70 handicap at Doomben just over two weeks ago.
The return to provincial level racing is a positive here and he is taken to record a win under Georgina Cartwright.
