There are four meetings set to take place on Tuesday, including at Kembla Grange, where seven races are on the schedule.
They also race at Ararat, Rockhampton and Scone.
Djapana @ 5.50
Clubman @ 2.40
Stardom Awaayts @ 3.60
The sixth race of the day at Kembla Grange is a 1600m Benchmark 64 handicap expected to take place on a good 4 surface.
The Robert & Luke Price-trained Satness is a regular at this venue and he is seeking his fourth course win, with his most recent success having come over this distance at the start of October.
The six-year-old is expected to jump as favourite for this contest, having finished runner-up in each of his last two starts.
The first of those saw him beaten less than half-a-length when contesting a similar race to this over course and distance.
The gelding raced on a good 4 track that day and went on to lose out by half-a-length when dropped to 1550m at Canterbury six days later.
However, the winner of his penultimate start DJAPANA is in opposition once more and she is taken to confirm the form with the son of Sweynesse.
Clarry Conners' representative had previously managed sixth over this distance when contesting a Benchmark 64 handicap at Warwick Farm at the end of January.
That Warwick Farm effort marked a rare below-par performance from the filly, who had placed in a metro event on the Kensington track at Randwick earlier that month.
The 5.50 selection has forecast underfoot conditions to suit, while the booking of Tommy Berry takes the eye in this field.
Barrier nine shouldn't pose too many issues for the four-year-old, who looks up to registering back-to-back wins.
The second race of the day at Scone is a 1600m Benchmark 66 handicap contest.
A soft 5 track is expected for the race, with the consistent Don'tcha Think expected to prove popular having finished in the first four in all six starts this prep.
Those efforts include a defeat by less than half-a-length when placing third in a 1500m Benchmark 64 handicap at Newcastle last month.
The five-year-old was keen on that occasion, having been beaten two lengths into fourth over 1400m when competing in a Benchmark 68 handicap at the same venue prior to that.
Aaron Bullock's mount steps up in distance here and, while he holds obvious claims, the unexposed CLUBMAN is preferred for Annabel Neasham & Rob Archibald.
The four-year-old made the perfect start to his career when debuting with a comfortable victory by nearly two-and-a-half-lengths at Canberra in April last year.
The 2.40 pick raced over 1400m on a soft 5 track that day, but appeared to have no issue with the quicker good 4 going when runner-up in a 1400m Class 1 handicap here on his return to action last month.
The son of Oasis Dream remains open to improvement, while barrier three is a positive returning to a forecast wet track.
Jean Van Overmeire is a positive jockey booking here and the selection looks up to recording the second win of his career.
A soft 5 surface is expected at Ararat, with the fifth race of the day a 2200m Benchmark 58 handicap.
The Matthew Williams-trained STARDOM AWAAYTS has been in good form without winning this prep, including in finishing runner-up at Terang in two of his last three starts.
The second of those saw the pick beaten by a narrow margin when contesting a 2150m Restricted 58 highweight contest held on a good 4 surface last month.
Prior to that the 3.60 selection had delivered a respectable effort when beaten less than four lengths into fourth in a 2440m Benchmark 58 handicap at Geelong.
The son of Tosen Stardom has gone well on a wet track here in the past and, with Dean Yendall up, is selected to record his first success of the season.
