There are four meetings set to take place on Tuesday, including at Port Macquarie, where nine races are on the schedule.
They also race at Benalla, Emerald and Goulburn.
Fools Play @ 4.20
Orthie's Boys @ 7.50
Tanya Simone @ 2.80
A soft 7 track is expected at Port Macquarie, with the sixth race of the day a 1206m Class 1 handicap event.
The Kris Lees-trained Hell Of A Lad is expected to start favourite, having registered three top four finishes from four starts this prep.
The most recent of those efforts saw the three-year-old beaten one-and-a-half-lengths when fourth in a Benchmark 58 handicap at Coffs Harbour earlier this month.
The son of Hellbent raced over 1200m on a sound surface that day, however, he has experience of wet tracks including when breaking his maiden on heavy going at Scone in August.
The year older FOOLS PLAY is the selection here, having performed well when beaten four lengths into third on a wet track at Lismore last month.
Jim Jarvis' filly raced over 1110m on that occasion, having finished fifth of six in a 1006m Class 1 event at Grafton in her previous start, her first run back from a spell.
The extra distance here is no issue with the 4.20 pick having broken her maiden over 1300m when competing at Armidale just under a year ago.
Matthew McGuren knows the filly well, having ridden her four times in the past, and the pair look capable of recording their first win together.
The sixth race of the day at Goulburn is a 1000m Benchmark 58 handicap expected to take place on a good 4 surface.
Top weight Be Quiet is expected to have her supporters for the Joe Pride stable, having broken through for her first victory when racing first up at Kembla Grange.
The four-year-old was making her sixth start when coming home one-and-a-half-lengths clear of her rivals when racing over 1000m on a wet track.
Alysha Collett, on board that day, is again set to ride and her mount holds obvious claims in this field.
The Richard Collett-trained ORTHIE'S BOYS is the pick here, however, with the gelding having broken his maiden over 1100m at Toowoomba when debuting in July last year.
The 7.50 gelding won by nearly a length when jumping at $18 for a maiden held on a soft 5 track that day and he ran well when fourth at Newcastle on his only subsequent start.
That Newcastle race saw the selection beaten one-and-a-half-lengths in a Class 1 1200m event on his final start for the Damien Lane stable.
The son of So You Think has had a couple of starts in barrier trials since joining his current trainer and he looks up to resuming with a win.
They are also set to race at Benalla with the fourth race on the card a 1406m three-year-old maiden plate.
Ben Brisbourne's TANYA SIMONE takes the eye here, having registered improvement with racing this prep.
The daughter of Dissident placed third in a 1454m maiden at Kyneton on her second start back prior to finishing only place better over 1474m at the same venue last time.
The 2.80 selection was beaten less than half-a-length last time out and she receives weight from her rivals as the only filly in the field.
Barrier eight shouldn’t be an issue and, with Lachlan King up for the first time, she is taken to break through for her maiden win.
