There are six meetings scheduled to take place on Wednesday and we have three selections covering Rosehill, Belmont and Doomben.
They also race at Bendigo, Murray Bridge and Launceston.
Dazzle Legend @ 4.80
Lord Shiva @ 5.50
Adoradec @ 4.00
A six race program is scheduled at Rosehill, with the penultimate contest a 1500m Benchmark 72 handicap.
A good 4 track is expected for the race, with Chris Waller's Congregation expected to jump as favourite.
The four-year-old entire resumed with a sixth over 1200m at Randwick prior to finishing fourth over 1400m at the same venue two weeks later.
The son of Snitzel went on to finish runner-up on the Kensington track at Randwick when racing over 1400m last month.
The extra 100m here shouldn't pose an issue and, while the drop from a Benchmark 78 handicap is a positive, preference is for stablemate DAZZLE LEGEND.
The gelding ended his last prep with a victory at this level when contesting a 1600m event held on a soft 5 track at Randwick in January.
The 4.80 four-year-old has delivered solid efforts in all three starts this time around, including when losing out by less than a length over this track and trip last time.
Kerrin McEvoy is set to ride here, having partnered the gelding to a two-length fourth over 1400m at Warwick Farm on his penultimate outing.
The selection boasts a good barrier in six and he is taken to register the third win of his career.
The sixth race at Belmont Park is a competitive looking 1000m Class 3 handicap event.
Go Go Grommet is expected to have his supporters, having won first up in the past.
The five-year-old failed to make much of an impact in three starts last time around, however, it's of note that two of those came over further than he tackles here.
The gelding is set to debut for the Chris & Michael Gangemi team here and he has trialled well ahead of his return to action.
LORD SHIVA is the pick here, though, having demonstrated good form in defeat so far this prep.
The four-year-old finished third when beaten just under one-and-a-half-lengths in a Class 1 handicap over this track and trip on his return to action in September.
Two second-place finishes over the same distance at Northam followed, with Adam Durrant's representative finishing fifth at the same venue last time.
While that latest effort was disappointing, the 5.50 selection has the services of Lucy Fiore for the first time this prep and can put that behind him to register a win.
The concluding contest on Doomben's six-race card is a 1350m Class 1 handicap expected to take place on a heavy 8 track.
Barry Lockwood’s team are in good form at present, with the stable boasting a 39% strike-rate (5/13) in the last 30 days.
The handler saddles ADORADEC here, with the filly having registered good efforts in placing in each of her last two starts.
Those efforts include a second, beaten less than half-a-length at $26 when contesting a similar race to this over track and trip last month.
The 4.00 daughter of Kermadec has since gone on to place third in a similar event held over 1200m at Eagle Farm earlier this month.
The switch to a heavy 8 track for the first time is a slight concern, however, she has a good barrier and looks capable of recording the second win of her career.
