There are three meetings set to take place on Tuesday with Wodonga, Moruya and Mackay all hosting racing action.
Lonely Road @ 3.40
Soho Sushi @ 5.00
Sennaprost @ 4.20
The sixth race on the Wodonga card is a 1590m Benchmark 64 handicap set to take place on a good 4 track.
The lightly-raced Privacy Tour is expected to have his supporters having won once and placed third twice from three starts.
That victory came when making all the running to take out a 1412m maiden held on a good 4 surface when debuting at Benalla in April.
Privacy Tour was spelled following that effort with similar tactics employed in both starts this prep, including when beaten one-and-a-half-lengths back at Benalla earlier this month.
The son of Iffraaj had performed well when beaten half-a-length over 1618m at Echuca prior and the step up in distance here is no issue.
LONELY ROAD is preferred on this occasion, however, having broken through for his first victory when successful over this distance at Wangaratta in early July.
The selection came home three-lengths clear of his rivals when racing on a soft 5 surface on that occasion.
This four-year-old went on to prove that the quicker going expected here is no issue, when runner-up over 1600m in a Restricted 64 handicap held on a good 4 track at Ballarat on his next outing.
Liam Howley’s representative went on to finish fourth in a similar contest held at Cranbourne earlier this month and he is selected to return to winning ways under Jason Maskiell.
The fourth race on the Moruya card is a 1200m Benchmark 58 handicap, with Fourcade expected to jump as favourite for the Shaun Coady team.
The six-year-old’s two most recent victories have come at Sapphire Coast, including by just under half-a-length in a 1200m Benchmark 58 handicap at the end of July.
Fourcade won on a soft 7 track that day and followed that triumph up with a third in a 1210m Benchmark 58 handicap on a soft 6 surface here subsequently.
The daughter of Counterattack drops back to country-level racing following a good fourth in a 1400m Class 2 handicap when contesting a metro event at Rosehill.
However, SOHO SUSHI is the selection here, with Pat Murphy’s filly having registered five top-two finishes from six starts this prep.
Four of those came in maiden company, with the pick breaking through for her first win when successful by one-and-a-half-lengths over 1020m here last month.
Soho Sushi followed that effort up with a good second when beaten less than a length in a 930m Class 1 handicap here.
The daughter of Mikki Isle is another to race at metro-level last time, having suffered a defeat by just over five lengths when ninth at Randwick earlier this month.
Barrier two gives jockey Louise Day options from the gate and her mount is taken to deliver her second win at this track.
The penultimate contest at Mackay is a 1200m Class 3 set weights event expected to take place on a good 4 track.
Ricky Vale’s SENNAPROST takes the eye here, having registered a number of good efforts this prep, including when winning twice at this venue.
The second of those victories came by less than a length when contesting a 1300m Benchmark 70 handicap held on a good 4 track last month.
Sennaprost went on to lose out by a length when contesting a Class 6 set weights event over the same distance on 5th September.
The six-year-old has a good draw four from the rail here and gets an easier looking contest dropped to a Class 3 event here.
Sennaprost should have no issues with the drop back to 1200m here, having won over track and trip in May, and he looks up to saluting under apprentice Mckenzie Apel.
