Sydney Sixers will be keen to get their Big Bash Women campaign underway with a victory against Melbourne Renegades on Sunday.

The Renegades on the other hand are tipped to have a tough campaign and are priced at 3.75 to finish bottom of the ladder.
However, it is the start of a new campaign and they will be doing all they can to pull off an upset in the opening game that will be played at the Adelaide Oval.

Melbourne Renegades do not have a great record against the Sydney Sixers, losing the last three meetings between the two sides.
The last time the Renegades were successful was back in October 2021, when they won by 12 runs.
Melbourne do have players that can hurt the Sixers though and if they can produce their best, a win could be on the cards.
With the bat, both Hayley Matthews and Georgia Wareham are dangerous and will be players to keep an eye on.
Matthews has scored 200 runs in 10 matches, while Wareham has 182, and both will be out to add to that on Sunday.
The Renegades will also look to bowlers Sarah Coyte and Georgia Prestwidge to do some damage to the Sixers batting order.
Both have taken 9 WBBL wickets and have impressive strike and economy rates.
The Sixers have been hit by the news Alyssa Healy looks set to miss the opening clash through injury.
Healy was forced to miss the last two games of Australia’s T20 World Cup campaign with a foot injury, and it is likely to to sideline her again.
While the injury is a blow, the Sixers do have a strong side and should be able to cope without the wicketkeeper-batter.
The Sixers have gun all-rounder Ash Gardner, who has scored 167 runs in 10 matches and has also taken 14 wickets.
Elysse Perry has a massive 366 runs in 10 matches, so the Sixers have the firepower to do some serious damage this season.
The last time these two sides met, the Sixers won by seven wickets with 27 balls remainings.
