There are four meetings set to take place on Tuesday, including at Muswellbrook, where seven races are on the schedule.
They also race at Queanbeyan, Tatura and Yeppoon.
Lord Bob @ 6.50
Vadaboy @ 9.00
Sooboogeliscious @ 2.20
A good 4 track is expected at Muswellbrook, with the penultimate race of the day an interesting 1000m Benchmark 66 handicap.
Runranirun demonstrated plenty of ability in winning three barrier trials prior to debuting at Newcastle last month.
The three-year-old impressed in triumphing by nearly nine lengths when racing over 900m on a heavy 9 track that day.
The filly puts her unbeaten record on the line here jumping from barrier four and, while she rates a worthy favourite, she lacks the experience of her rivals.
The race fit six-year-old LORD BOB is preferred on this occasion, with the gelding having demonstrated good form since resuming at Wyong in June.
The selection failed to make an impact when last of ten having jumped at $31 for that Wyong contest, but he has shown improved form in both subsequent starts.
The first of those saw the son of Office Bearer lose out by less than half-a-length when runner-up over 1200m in a Benchmark 58 handicap at Queanbeyan in July.
The 6.50 pick raced on a soft 6 track that day and went one better when successful by a length in a 1000m Class 3 handicap held on a soft 5 track at Tamworth last month.
Allan Kehoe’s representative had been freshened prior to that Tamworth effort and her jockey that day Shannen Llewellyn again set to ride here.
The seventh race of the day at Tatura is a 1600m Benchmark 58 handicap event.
Zoe Waller’s mount Classy Joe is expected to have his supporters as he goes in search of his 11th victory in 71 career starts.
The veteran galloper returned to form with a close second when racing over this distance on a soft 7 track at Seymour last month.
The gelding contested a similar race to this that day, however, he is not certain to appreciate the quicker going here with his most recent efforts on good ground resulting in heavy defeats.
The Simon Zahra-trained VADABOY is preferred when dropping in both distance having been freshened since his latest effort.
The six-year-old finished down the field when eighth in a 2418m Benchmark 64 handicap at Geelong in June.
The 9.00 pick has been freshened since that effort having previously delivered two good third-place finishes, including on a good 4 track over 2200m at Bendigo the previous month.
The selection has performed well at a higher level in the past, with a Moonee Valley victory in a Benchmark 64 handicap over 2500m among his successes in 2023.
The booking of Thomas Stockdale takes the eye in this contest and his mount is taken to register a win jumping from barrier five.
The penultimate contest at Queanbeyan is a 1460m Benchmark 58 handicap.
SOOBOOGELISCIOUS is the pick here, having shown good form on the forecast good 4 track last prep.
The mare’s efforts that prep included two placed efforts at Sapphire Coast, including when a close second over 1408m in a Benchmark 58 handicap there in February.
The 2.20 five-year-old was spelled following a ninth at Wagga subsequently and resumed with a length victory over 1200m at Dubbo last month.
Coriah Keatings’ mount came home a length clear of her rivals when racing on a soft 7 track that day and Keatings is again set to ride here.
Trained by Nick Olive, the selection has an inside barrier here and with underfoot conditions in her favour she is taken to record back-to-back victories.
