AFL: Cats likely to remain unbeaten

Geelong will be out to maintain their unbeaten start to the 2024 AFL campaign when they entertain North Melbourne on Sunday afternoon.

The Cats are rediscovering the kind of form that saw them win the 2022 grand final and they can be backed at 10.00 to win it in 2024.

If they can beat North Melbourne they will sit 5-0 for the season and will be looking in great shape.

North Melbourne have yet to win this season and could face another battle to avoid the wooden spoon.

West Coast are in the same boat as the Kangaroos and they are also in action on Sunday, taking on Richmond at Optus Stadium.

Richmond have won just one game, so it represents a great chance for West Coast to pick up their first.

Ollie Henry is proving to be a big threat for the Cats and has booted nine goals already.

The forward is priced at 9.00 to kick the first goal of the game, or 1.04 to score at anytime.

North Melbourne will be hoping to get off to a strong start in the game and can be backed at 5.50 to win the first quarter by 1-18 points.

Eagles search for first win

West Coast may be searching for their first win, but there were some positive signs in the loss to Sydney in Gather Round.

They were in the game for long periods before losing by 26 points.

Jake Waterman booted a couple of goals against the Swans and is priced at 13.00 to grab the first of the game.

The Eagles will be desperate to get their first points on the board and can be backed at 6.00 to win by 1-12 points.

Richmond have just one win this season, but it really should have been two after they missed a trick against St Kilda last week.

The Tigers ended up losing by seven points and will be out to bounce back and, having won their last three games against the Eagles, are 5.50 to win by 13-24 points.
