Cricket: Aussies look to bounce back at Lord’s

Australia will be determined to return to winning ways when they take on England in the fourth One Day International at Lord’s.

England are alive and kicking after winning the third match, but Australia still hold a 2-1 lead and can be backed at 1.22 to win the series.

The home side are 4.33, and if they win at Lord’s and level the series at 2-2, it will go to the wire in a decider.

Australia will be disappointed that their 14-match winning streak came to an end as England picked up a 46-run win.

However, the motivation will be there to start another run, and there would be no better place to do it than Lord’s.

The Aussies should also be boosted by a couple of key players returning, so it is game on.

Zampa back for Aussies

Adam Zampa was forced to miss the third match defeat through illness and the influential spinner was sorely missed.

It is no coincidence that Australia’s winning streak game to an end while Zampa was out of the side.

He had played in every game of the 14-match winning streak, and the Australian side lacked a bit of balance without him.

The good news for Australia is that Zampa has recovered from illness and is set to return to the side at Lord’s.

Australia will be hoping Zampa can make an immediate impact, and he can be backed at 3.60 to be Team – Top Bowler.

Mitchell Starc took two wickets in Zampa’s absence and can be backed at 3.75.

Travis Head was also missing in Durham, and although Australia still managed to score 307 runs, they will be delighted to have him back.

Head is priced at 4.00 to be Team – Top Batter, while Alex Carey, who top-scored with 77 in the last match, is 8.50.

Brook leads England to victory

Harry Brook was the star of the show for England with an unbeaten knock of 110 runs, while he was very well supported by Will Jacks, who chipped in with 84.

Australia took their hat off to Brook following the match-winning performance, and will be keen to get him early at Lord’s.

The return of Zampa will give them options, and he may have been able to stem the flow of runs had he been playing.

Brook should be high on confidence heading into Friday’s match and he can be backed at 5.00 to be England’s Team – Top Batter.

Brook can also be backed at 10.00 to be named player of the match.
