The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy takes place in Pakistan and the UAE and gets underway on Wednesday 19th February, with Australia firmly among the favourites to lift the trophy.
The Baggy Green won this tournament in both 2006 and 2009, while Pakistan are the holders, with the last staging of the competition having taken place way back in 2017, in England.
Australia head into their campaign without injured skipper Pat Cummins and they are 4.50 in the outright market, with India leading the way at 2.87.
India - 2.87
Australia - 4.50
South Africa - 7.00
England - 7.00
Pakistan - 7.00
New Zealand - 9.00
Afghanistan - 26.00
Bangladesh - 51.00
India - 2.87
India's undoubted power in white-ball cricket saw them lift the 2024 T20 World Cup, while they had also reached the final of its 50-over equivalent a year earlier.
They made it through to the final of the 2017 Champions Trophy only to be thrashed by an inspired Pakistan side who roared to a 180-run victory at The Oval, while they previously lifted the trophy in 2013 - also in England - and were declared joint winners with Sri Lanka back in 2002.
Australia - 4.50
Australia will have a new look when they take to the field at the Champions Trophy, with David Warner having exited the international stage, as has Marcus Stoinis, while captain Cummins, fellow pacer Josh Hazlewood and all-rounder Mitch Marsh all miss out due to injury.
Despite these absences, the Baggy Green, current 50-over World Cup holders, are highly fancied to be one of the teams to beat, with Australia 4.50 to lift the trophy and 2.37 to reach the final.
They have been drawn in Group B alongside England, South Africa and the ever dangerous Afghanistan, with the Aussies hot fancies at 2.30 to top the pool.
And they will need to improve on their recent record in the tournament, having not only failed to progress from the group stage in either 2013 or 2017, but also failed to win a game on both of those occasions.
South Africa - 7.00
South Africa won the inaugural Champions Trophy back in 1998 and the Proteas have been in fine form in recent times, clinching a place in the World Test Championship, where they will take on Australia.
They also reached the final of the T20 World Cup last year and came so close to winning a first global tournament, being edged out by seven runs by India in Barbados.
England - 7.00
England have never won this competition, but have reached the final on two occasions, narrowly losing out on home soil in both 2004 and 2013.
The Three Lions' white-ball set-up is now under the charge of head coach Brendon McCullum and they will be eager to finally go all the way, having reached at least the semi-finals in each of the last three stagings.
Pakistan - 7.00
Holders Pakistan have home advantage to feed on this time around, as an international tournament takes place in the country for the first time since the 50-over World Cup was jointly hosted by themselves, India and Sri Lanka back in 1996.
They will no doubt be highly motivated to try and reward their fans with success on home soil, even if their high-profile group game with India is being played in Dubai.
New Zealand - 9.00
New Zealand won this competition back in 2000 and were also runners-up to Australian nine years later, but they have failed to make it past the group stage at either of the last two stagings and will be keen to improve on that recent record.
