Perth Scorchers returned to winning ways with a 28-run win over Brisbane Heat, and are now targeting revenge against the Renegades.

The two sides have already met in this season, in Melbourne, with the Renegades winning by six wickets with 14 deliveries remaining.

The Renegades spinners ripped the Scorchers apart, taking every wicket, and will attempt to do the same on Thursday.

Perth Scorchers should have learnt a lesson, but there was no sign of a hangover as they beat the Heat on their return to action.

Beth Mooney was the star with the bat, smashing 77 runs, while Alana King took 4-16 as the Heat were bowled out for just 114 runs.

Thunder target three in a row

Sydney Thunder are on a roll after winning their last two matches against against Hobart Hurricanes and Adelaide Strikers in blistering fashion.

They beat the Hurricanes by 33 runs, the Strikers by 64 runs, and on such form will be in with a shout of winning the WBBL in 2024.

The Thunder piled on 212 runs against the Strikers, with Georgia Voll scoring 92 runs off 55 deliveries, while Phoebe Litchfield also made 49 runs.

Brisbane Heat started like a house on fire, winning their opening two games, but have since gone on to lose the next two.

But they have won four of the last five games against the Thunder, and in Grace Harris have one of the best batters in the competition.
