Australia undertake a tour of the West Indies starting in late June, with a three-match Test series followed by five Twenty20 internationals in the Caribbean.
The Baggy Green have not lost a Test series to the Windies since way back in 1992, but the last time the two sides met in red-ball cricket the spoils were shared on Australian soil as the series ended as a 1-1 draw.
That series saw the men from the Caribbean win in Australia for the first time since 1996, as they claimed a thrilling eight-run victory in the second Test in Brisbane.
Now the rivalry is renewed in the West Indies, with Australia hoping to make the trip buoyed by having retained their World Test Championship crown by beating South Africa in early June.
The first Test at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados takes place between 26-30th June, with the second match of three scheduled for 4-8th July at the National Cricket Stadium in St. George's on Grenada.
The final Test of the series is a day/night match which takes place between 13-18th July at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica.
The Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados is one of the most iconic venues in the Caribbean, having staged 55 Test matches to date, with the most recent clash between West Indies and Australia ending in a tense three-wicket win for the Baggy Green in 2012.
The National Cricket Stadium in St. George's, Grenada is a much more recent addition to the international roster and has played host to just four Test matches to date and will be a new red-ball destination for the Aussies.
It's back to a traditional venue for the series finale, with Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica matching the Kensington Oval in staging 55 Test matches.
Australia took the honours by 277 runs when they last faced the Windies in Jamaica back in June 2015.
The West Indies v Australia Test series will be available to watch for Australian fans on Foxtel and Kayo.
West Indies and Australia have played no fewer than 120 Test matches against each other since their first clash back in 1930 and the overall record reads 61 wins for the Baggy Green, 33 victories for the Windies and 25 draws.
Australia had gone 20 Test without defeat against their Caribbean rivals before losing out at the Gabba in January 2024.
There are no odds available for the Australia v West Indies Test series yet, they will be released nearer to the date of the opening match of the series in Barbados.
