Golf: Scott and Day among Aussie hopefuls

Australia are once again well represented on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour and there are some big names chasing success.

Let’s take a look at some of Australia’s big hopes for the rest of the season and into 2025.

Adam Scott

Scott is going well on the DP World Tour when witting in 11th spot on the rankings having played in nine tournaments.

He has yet to register a win, but did finish second at the Genesis Scottish Open, while he finished in 10th at the 152nd Open Championship.

Scott also finished T2 at the BMW Championship after holding a three-shot lead at the end of the second round.

Scott has of course tasted success at The Masters in the past, and can be backed at 8.00 to finish in the top 10 at the 2025 event.

Jason Day

Day has enjoyed huge success on the PGA Tour throughout his career but is still search for his first win in 2024.

The 36-year-old has played in 20 events and has four top-10 finishes to his name, while he has missed the cut on three occasions.

His best performance came at the Wells Fargo Championship back in May, when he finished T4.

Day can be backed at 61.00 to win The Masters in 2025, or 5.50 to earn a top-10 finish.

Cameron Davis

The 29-year-old has already had a successful 2024 when picking up one win on the PGA Tour when taking out the Rocket Mortgage Classic.

It is the second time the Sydneysider has won the tournament, also claiming the title back in 2021.

With 20 top-10 finishes to his name, including three top-three finishes, Davis is a proven performer on the PGA Tour.

Davis, who has had two Top-10 finishes in 2024, still has plenty of time on his side and has the potential to add to his two PGA Tour wins.

He can also be backed at 9.50 to have a Top-10 finish at The Masters in 2025.

Min Woo Lee

Min Woo Lee has made his debut on the PGA Tour in 2024 and has come close to winning on a couple of occasions.

The 26-year-old has finished tied for second on two occasions in 2024. First at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, and then in the Rocket Mortgage Classic.

Min Woo Lee has missed the cut in just three of the 19 tournaments he has played in and has been in the top 25 on eight occasions.

The Perth-star also has one win to his name on the DP World Tour, when winning the Australian PGA, while he finished third at the Australian Open.

Min Woo Lee can be backed at 61.00 to win The Masters, or 5.50 for a top-10 finish.
