The Australian Derby will take place at Randwick Racecourse on Saturday and a host of New Zealand horses are dominating the antepost betting.
With a total prize pot of $2million, the Australian Derby is one of the top ranked event for three-year-olds and therefore attracts the best from Australia and New Zealand.
Raced over 2400m under set weight conditions, the Australian Derby is for horses aged three years old.
Chris Waller’s Aeliana is currently leading the way, but there is little to separate the top contenders heading into the race.

With Jason Collett in the saddle, Aeliana finished second to Broadsiding in her most recent outing, the Rosehill Guineas.
Aeliana, who was born in New Zealand, has three career wins and will be out for number four in the Australian derby.
Waller’s charge is 3.50 to get the job done.
Willydoit - 4.00
New Zealand star Willydoit is expected to be in the mix when he makes his Australian debut in the Australian Derby.
The promising stayer showed what he is made of with a win in the NZ Derby on Champions Day at Ellerslie.
Jockey Mick Dee will retain the ride of Willydoit, who is priced at 4.00 to win the Australian Derby.
Shanwah - 6.00
Shanwah could not be in better form heading towards the Australian Derby after winning the last four races on the bounce.
The three-year-old’s latest success came with an impressive win in the Alister Clark Stakes at Moonee Valley.
A trip to Sydney for the Championships is now on the cards, with jockey Blake Shinn set to return after Ethan Brown stepped in for the Alister Clark.
Shanwah is 6.00 to make it five wins on the bounce.
Thedoctoroflove - 7.50
Thedoctoroflove is another horse from New Zealand and can be backed at 7.50 to win the Australian Derby.
Trained by Trent Busuttin and Natalia Young, Thedoctoroflove finish second in the New Zealand derby behind Willydoit.
Goldrush Guru - 11.00
Goldrush Guru was another horse to race in the Rosehill Guineas, finishing seventh.
Trained by Andrew Gluyas, Goldrush Guru is priced at 11.00 to win the Australian Derby, along with Golden Century and King Of Thunder.
Plymouth, who came fifth at Rosehill, can be backed at 15.00.
