The 2025 NRL season is fast approaching and there is a good chance it will be a two-horse race between Melbourne Storm and Penrith Panthers for the Premiership.
The two teams are also set to battle it out for the minor premiership, but below them it will be less predictable.
How will the Brisbane Broncos go in 2025? Will they finish above the Cronulla Sharks, who have been a regular in the top eight in recent seasons?
It will also be interesting to see who come out on top in one of the biggest rivalries - South Sydney Rabbitohs v Sydney Roosters.
Let’s take a look at the NRL Regular Season Head-to-Head Odds.
Unless there is a massive upset in the 2025 NRL season, the Storm and Panthers will battle it out for the minor premiership.
For the Panthers, it is all about peaking for finals. It has served them very well indeed as they have won the last four premierships on the spin.
They were happy to let the Storm finish top of the pile by four points in 2024, before bouncing back to win the grand final.
The same could quite easily happen again, with the Storm being the stronger of the two during the regular season.
Melbourne Storm are 1.72 to win this head-to-head, with the Panthers available at 2.10.
The Broncos had a season to forget in 2024 and did not even make the top eight after contesting the grand final in 2023.
With Michael Maguire in as their new head coach, the Broncos are expected to bounce back and are viewed as the biggest threat to Melbourne and Penrith.
The Sharks have been consistent in recent seasons and made the top four again in 2024 before failing to do the business in finals.
They are expected to go well again and are 2.45 to win this head-to-head against Brisbane, who are the hot fancies at 1.55.
It is a tough one to call, however, as the jury is still out on the Broncos following a dismal campaign last season.
After years of investment and bringing in high-profile recruits, the Bulldogs finally climbed the ladder in 2024 and ended up finishing sixth.
Further improvement is expected in the season ahead and the Bulldogs hope to be pushing for a place in the top four.
The Sea Eagles finished one point and one place below the Bulldogs, and there will be little to separate them once again.
If Manly can keep Tom Trbojevic fit then anything is possible for them.
It is no surprise that both teams are priced at 1.90 in this head-to-head.
South Sydney also had a tough 2024 to say the least when dropping out of the eight, but with master coach Wayne Bennett back at the helm they are expected to rise.
The Roosters managed to finish third on the ladder, but there is a big question mark over how they will go in the season ahead.
Joseph Sua’ali’i has moved to rugby union, Luke Keary has retired and Trent Robinson has a tough test on his hands.
This is all reflected in their odds of 17.00 to win the grand final.
Again both teams are 1.90 to win this head-to-head.
