NRL: Sea Eagles out to slay Dragons

Manly Sea Eagles will aim to bounce back from their first defeat of the season when they take on the Dragons on Saturday.

The Sea Eagles went down fighting in a close game with Parramatta, but have still won two of their opening three games.

They can be backed at 14.00 to win the NRL grand final and need to beat the Dragons, who have lost the last two games.

The Dolphins are up and running after thrashing the Dragons before the bye, and next up is a clash with the Titans on the Gold Coast.

Wayne Bennett’s side are 3.60 to finish in the top eight and play finals at the end of the season, while the Titans have work to do after losing their opening two games.

Manly look to bounce back

. What: St George/Illawarra Dragons v Manly Sea Eagles
. Where: WIN Stadium, Wollongong
. When: 16:30 (AEST), Saturday 30th March 2024
. How to watch: Kayo, Foxtel
. Odds: St George/Illawarra Dragons 3.30, Manly Sea Eagles 1.33

Manly lost by four points against Parramatta but there were plenty of positives to take from the thriller as they continue to impress with the ball.

The Sea Eagles do need to cut out the errors that cost them against the Eels, but will be confident of getting a result against the Red V.

Tom Trbojevic continues to shine for the Sea Eagles and is priced at 2.05 to back up his try against the Eels, with another at anytime in the game.

The Dragons let an 18-4 lead slip against the Cowboys slip last start and will be out to respond.

WIN Stadium has not been a happy home for them however, losing five out of the last six games at the venue.

Mikaele Ravalawa likes it though, scoring nine tries in the last eight games there, and is 13.00 to score the first of the game.

The Sea Eagles won by six points in the corresponding fixture in 2023 and are 6.50 to win by 6-10 once again.

Titans search for first win

. What: Gold Coast Titans v Dolphins
. Where: Cbus Super Stadium, Gold Coast
. When: 18:35 (AEST), Saturday 30th March 2024
. How to watch: Kayo, Foxtel
. Odds: Gold Coast Titans 2.15, Dolphins 1.72

The Titans are in desperate need of a win after losing their opening two games for new coach Des Hasler.

To make matters worse, they have also lost the influential Tino Fa'asuamaleaui for the rest of the season due to injury.

There is some good news however as David Fifita has recovered from a pectoral injury and could be in line to return.

The Titans have scored just the one try so far and have won just one game out of the last four at Cbus Super Stadium.

The Dolphins won both games last season by two points and are 7.00 to win by 1-5 points on Saturday.

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow scored three tries when they hammered the Dragons 38-0 in the game before the bye.

The fullback is 2.20 to score at anytime or 9.50 to grab the first try of the game.
