NRL: Sharks look to continue strong start

Cronulla Sharks will be seeking their third win on the bounce when they take on Wests Tigers on Saturday night.

The Sharks have had a strong start to the season after winning their opening two games, and are priced at 3.00 to go on and make the top four in this campaign.

North Queensland have also started the season well with two wins, and will be out to make it three when they travel to take on the Dragons.

The Cowboys can be backed at 16.00 to win the grand final this season.

The Bulldogs and Titans are both targeting their first wins of the season when they clash in the opening game of the day.

Despite losing their opening two games, there have been some positives signs for the Bulldogs.

Belmore Sports Ground has not been a happy venue for them however, winning just two from the last 11 games and they will need to turn that around.

The Bulldogs will be desperate to win and can be backed at 6.50 to do so by 1-5 points.

The Titans welcome back Kieran Foran, who missed the heavy defeat against the Dragons in round one.

They should have regrouped after the bye and centre Phillip Sami has scored a try in each of the last five games against the Bulldogs.

He is 2.75 to score at anytime on Saturday.

The Dragons need a response after being thumped 38-0 by the Dolphins last week.

The Red V can take heart from the fact they have won four of the last six games on home soil.

Ben Hunt has also scored a try in each of the last five games at the venue, and the playmaker is 4.50 to score at anytime.

The Cowboys have won their last four games against the Dragons, and have started the season well, winning their opening two fixtures.

They are priced at 6.00 to keep the run going by winning by 6-10 points.

Big test awaits the Tigers

. When: 18:35 (AEST), Saturday 23rd March 2024
. How to watch: Kayo, Foxtel,

Wests Tigers opened their season with a 20-point loss against Canberra Raiders and are in for another big test on Saturday.

They are boosted by the news Justin Olam has been passed fit to play following a knee injury, and he will be needed.

The centre can be backed at 3.70 to grab a try at anytime.

The Sharks have a great record at Leichardt Oval and were last defeated there way back in 2014.

They have also suffered just one defeat against the Sharks in the last 11 games.

Cronulla can be backed at 2.05 to win by 13+ points
