NRL: Warriors target four in a row

New Zealand Warriors will take on Manly Sea Eagles as part of a big triple-header in the NRL on Saturday.

The Warriors are seen as many as an outside tip to win the 2024 grand final, and after a solid start to the season, they can be backed at 13.00 to go all the way.

Manly are also seen as a dark horse, and can be backed at 15.00 to win the premiership.

It means we could be set for an intriguing battle when the two sides clash in the opening match of the day.

North Queensland Cowboys have started the season well with four wins from five and will look to keep the run going when they travel to take on Parramatta.

In the final game of the day, struggling South Sydney Rabbitohs are in need of a big lift when they take on Cronulla Sharks.

Rumours all week have suggested that head coach Jason Demetriou has 80 minutes to save his job, and it does not get much harder than a clash with the Sharks.

Warriors on a roll

. What: New Zealand Warriors v Manly Sea Eagles
. Where: Go Media Stadium, Auckland
. When: 15:00 (AEST), Saturday 13th April 2024
. How to watch: Kayo, Foxtel
. Odds: New Zealand Warriors 1.48, Manly Sea Eagles 2.65

The Warriors are on a high after winning the last three games but face a tough test against a Sea Eagles side that will also be buzzing.

Manly defeated reigning premiers Penrith Panthers last week and they will be keen to take that form on the road.

That will be easier said than done as Manly have not won in Auckland since 2017, while the Warriors have won six of the last seven games on home soil.

Dallin Watene-Zelezniak also loves playing at Go Media Stadium, scoring in each of the last nine games there.

The winger is back fit and is priced at 6.50 to score the first try of the game.

Eels must stop rot

. What: Parramatta Eels v North Queensland Cowboys
. Where: CommBank Stadium, Sydney
. When: 17:30 (AEST), Saturday 13th April 2024
. How to watch: Kayo, Foxtel
. Odds: Parramatta Eels 2.20, North Queensland Cowboys 1.68

Parramatta are in desperate need of a win after losing the last two games, and hope that home soil will help them to get the job done.

They have won nine of the last 12 games at the venue and can be backed at 3.50 to win the game by 1-12 points.

The Eels have to find a way of coping with the loss of influential playmaker Mitchel Moses, and the Cowboys will be looking to exploit his absence.

It could be the Cowboys best chance to pick up their first win at Parramatta since 2015.

Cowboys winger Kyle Feldt is always a threat and is 10.00 to score the first try of the game.

Souths desperate for the win

. What: South Sydney Rabbitohs v Cronulla Sharks
. Where: Accor Stadium, Sydney
. When: 19:35 (AEST), Saturday 13th April 2024
. How to watch: Kayo, Foxtel
. Odds: South Sydney Rabbitohs 3.50, Cronulla Sharks 1.31

South Sydney are sitting bottom of the ladder and it has been suggested coach Jason Demetriou will be out of work if they lose their fifth game of the season.

They will also have to win without star fullback Latrell Mitchell, who has been hit with a three-match suspension, while prolific winger Alex Johnston is injured.

The Sharks are going well after picking up three wins this season and are in with a good chance of snapping a seven-game losing streak against the Bunnies at Accor Stadium.

Cronulla can be backed at 6.50 to win by 6-10 points.
