Adelaide United may be reeling from the loss of Craig Goodwin, but they have bounced back with the exciting signing of a former Manchester United player.

Midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe has penned a two-year deal with the Reds and will add plenty of quality and experience to their ranks.

The 30-year-old played for Manchester United in the Premier League back in 2012 and has since gone on to represent Fulham, Luton Town, Millwall and most recently Portsmouth in England’s League One.

The Brazilian defender will help fill the void left by the departure of Alex Wilkinson, and the 24-year-old will partner Jack Rodwell in the heart of the defence.

Lacerda like fellow countryman, centre-forward Fabio Gomes, has signed on a loan deal, but there is a chance both signings will become permanent.

Sydney have also signed Olyroos defender Jordan Courtney-Perkins on a permanent basis, as coach Steve Corica attempts to sure up a defence that conceded way too many goals last season.

Sydney FC are 8.00 to win the grand final.

Another Brazilian joins City

Melbourne City are the hot fancies at 3.80 to win the grand final and they have also been active.

City have snapped up Brazilian forward Leo Natel on a season-long loan deal from Brazil giants Corinthians.

The 26-year-old, who came through the Academy ranks at Portuguese giants Benfica, has pace, power and technical ability and should be a big hit in the A-League.
