Canterbury Bulldogs will look to maintain their perfect start to the 2025 NRL season when they take on the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium on Thursday.

The Bulldogs are looking the real deal after winning their opening six games, to move four points clear at the top of the ladder.

There is a big question mark hanging over the Broncos after they suffered back-to-back defeats.

A 10-point home defeat against the Roosters, followed by a two-point loss against the Warriors in Auckland, has set them back.

Michael Maguire’s side cannot afford another loss against the Bulldogs, and the pressure is on to get the job done.

Despite the loss against the Warriors, Jesse Arthars continued his fine run of form with yet another try.

Reece Walsh was also on the scoresheet with a try, while Adam Reynolds booted three conversions.

All three players will need to be at the top of their game once again if the Broncos are to have any chance overcoming the Bulldogs.

Home advantage could turn out to be crucial, and the Broncos are priced at 3.60 to win the clash by 1-12 points.

Bulldogs continue to fly

The Bulldogs could not have got the 2025 NRL season off to a better start.

Not only have they won all six games, they have conceded a total of 14 points over the last four games.

Indeed in their last two, they have kept both Newcastle Knights and South Sydney Rabbitohs to zero.

A trip to take on the Broncos at Suncorp will be a tougher test but they can head their full of confidence.

They may have only won nine games from 31 at Suncorp, but they are a different team these days and also won there last season.

The Bulldogs knocked over the Broncos 41-16 and can be backed at 2.80 to win by 13+ points on Thursday.
