Broncos can build on Tigers display

Beating Wests Tigers 46-24 in their last outing, Michael Maguire will have taken plenty of positives out of that performance at Suncorp Stadium.

Broncos centre Jesse Arthars once again impressed as he scored two tries against the Tigers, meaning he’s now bagged eight tries in his last six games.

Arthars is 1.52 in the anytime tryscorer market for Friday’s clash with the Roosters, while he’s 5.50 to score the opening try of the game.

Brisbane have not defeated the Roosters twice in a season since 2018 but, having won 50-14 over the Sydney outfit at Allianz Stadium at the start of the campaign, the Broncos are 1.19 to complete a double this week.

Losing 20-14 at the hands of South Sydney Rabbitohs last time out, Roosters head coach Trent Robinson will be keen to see a reaction from his players at Suncorp Stadium this week.

The Roosters have lost three of their past four games at Suncorp and it’s one of the reasons why they are the 5.00 underdogs for Friday’s clash in Queensland.

If the Roosters were to cause an upset in this one, Dominic Young might well have played an influential role.

The winger has scored five tries in his past three games against the Broncos and the English try machine is 2.00 in the anytime tryscorer market and 9.00 to score the opening try of the night.
