Brisbane Broncos v New Zealand Warriors: NRL Saturday preview

The in-form Brisbane Broncos will attempt to close the gap on New Zealand Warriors with a victory at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday.

The Broncos have hit some form, winning the last two games, to move them to fifth place on the NRL ladder.

However, they are still six points behind the Warriors in fourth and still have work to do to make sure they finish in the top eight.

The Warriors slipped up on home soil against Penrith Panthers last weekend and will be desperate to get back to winning ways.

They are still in with a shout of winning the minor premiership, but cannot afford back-to-back defeats.

Broncos hit form

The Broncos should be high on confidence after they came from 16 points down to beat Cronulla Sharks last weekend.

They have now won the last two and need to keep the momentum going with another two points against the Warriors.

Brisbane have scored a total of 78 points in those two games at Suncorp and can be backed at 1.80 to score over 26.5 point on Saturday.

Reece Walsh has also been in top form since returning from injury and the fullback is priced at 9.00 to score the first try or 2.05 to score at anytime.

Josiah Karapani has also scored four tries in the last two at Suncorp and is 7.50 to grab the first of this game.

Warriors love Suncorp

The Warriors have a great recent record at Suncorp Stadium, winning three of the last four games at the venue.

They have won there on two occasions already this season, but it was 2018 when they last beat the Broncos at the venue.

Andrew Webster's men can be backed at 4.00 to break that drought and win a tight game by 1-12 points.

The Warriors are boosted by the return of State of Origin forward Kurt Capewell, who will be desperate to put in a solid performance against his former side.

Capewell can be backed at 4.25 to grab a try at anytime.

The loss of winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak is a blow for the Broncos, but it does present an opportunity for Ed Kosi to shine.

Kosi is 12.00 to get the first try of the game.
