Earning a 30-8 win over the New Zealand Warriors in their opening game of the season, the Raiders produced an attacking display that suggests they will be a threat in the NRL this term.

Finishing just outside of the top eight last season on points difference, the Raiders will be pushing for a return to the finals this time around.

Having lit up Las Vegas with their performance against the Warriors, the Raiders will next look to get one over the Broncos this weekend.

That has been a tough challenge for Canberra in the recent past, with the Raiders winning just one of their last four games against the Broncos.

Canberra, who have won three of their last four home games, are 4.00 underdogs to win on Saturday in the capital.

Broncos showing early promise

Heading to Allianz Stadium and earning a 50-14 win over the Sydney Roosters on their own patch was a statement performance from the Broncos.

Brisbane were a shadow of their former selves last season when finishing 12th at the end of the regular season.

However, the Broncos look to be moving in the right direction and they will take stopping at GIO Stadium this weekend.

Broncos star Selwyn Cobbo has scored six tries in four games against the Raiders and the talented winger is 6.50 to go over for the opening try of the game on Saturday.
