Cronulla Sharks and Manly Sea Eagles head in to Saturday’s clash on the back of defeats and both will be keen to bounce back from recent setbacks.

The Sharks have made a disappointing start to the season, winning just two games from the opening five, and suffered late heartbreak against Canberra at the weekend.

They are in need of a lift against the Sea Eagles if they are to get back in the hunt for a top-four finish.

Manly sit in sixth spot on the ladder, but after being hammered by Melbourne Storm on Sunday, also need a response.

However they have lost their last two games against the Raiders and Bulldogs, so their confidence may have taken a hit.

But when they have clicked this season, they have won their two games with ease.

Sea Eagles out to bounce back

Manly suffered a heavy home defeat against a rampant Melbourne Storm last week and need to bounce back at Optus.

The Storm could go on and win the grand final this season, so the loss was nothing to be ashamed of, but they will be disappointed nonetheless.

A win over the Sharks would be just the tonic, and they are priced at 4.00 to nick a close game by 1-12 points.

Winger Jason Saab will also be key to their chances after scoring 13 tries in the last 13 games.

He can be backed at 7.00 to score the first or last try, and 1.75 to grab a try at anytime in the game.
