Manly Sea Eagles v Canberra Raiders: NRL Sunday preview

Canberra Raiders will be out to make it three wins from three in the NRL when they take on Manly Sea Eagles at 4 Pines Park on Sunday.

The Raiders have started the season in blistering fashion and will be on a high after beating the Broncos last weekend.

The green machine now roles into 4 Pines Park looking to keep the winning sequence going, and it is a venue they have enjoyed in recent visits.

Manly will be desperate to bounce back from a shock defeat against the New Zealand Warriors last week and get back on track.

However they will have to do it without Tom Trbojevic, who picked up a knock during the loss and will be left to watch on from the sidelines.

Sea Eagles hit by Trbo blow

Manly have been hit by the news Tom Trbojevic will miss the clash against the Raiders through injury.

Trbojevic is suffering from hamstring tightness and the Sea Eagles will not risk him, but it is hoped he will be back next week.

Daly Cherry-Evans has recovered from a back spasm, however, and will take his place in the side.

Manly will lost by 20 points to the Warriors last week, making 12 errors in the process. They will need to cut out such errors or risk another defeat against Canberra.

The Sea Eagles have won seven of the last 10 games against the Raiders and will be keen to keep that good run going.

They can be backed at 3.00 to bounce back in style by beating the Raiders by 13+ points.

Jason Saab is also in good form on home soil, scoring a try in each of the last five games at 4 Pines Park. The winger can be backed at 1.75 to score a try at anytime on Sunday.

Raiders out for three in a row

Not only are the Raiders targeting their third win on the bounce this season, they can also pick up their third straight win at 4 Pines Park.

They were one of just two teams to win at the venue last season, as they came out on top 26-24.

If it is to be that close again, the Raiders can be backed at 7.00 to win by 1-5 points.

The Raiders will be boosted by the return of Xavier Savage from suspension and the flying fullback is priced at 9.00 to score the first try of the game.
