Canterbury Bulldogs will get the chance to bounce back from their first defeat of the season when they take on the Gold Coast Titans on Sunday in Magic Round.

The Bulldogs were played off the park by Brisbane Broncos last weekend and now return to Suncorp looking to make amends.

Cameron Ciraldo’s men still sit top of the NRL ladder and will be keen to show the loss to the Broncos was just a blip.

The Titans are also looking to respond following a heavy loss against the Cowboys, which was their fourth loss in a row.

Gold Coast have had a rough few weeks as they have lost four games on the bounce to leave them in 14th spot, with just two wins all season.

They have been scoring points, averaging 20 a game this season, but it the 30 on average they concede that has been the issue.

The Titans have shown glimpses of what they can do and will hope to put in a complete performance against the Bulldogs.

Des Hasler’s men do like Suncorp Stadium, having won four of their last five games at the venue.

They can be backed at 5.50 to win a tight game by 1-12 points.

AJ Brimson is a player that loves Magic Round after scoring three tries in three games.

The centre can be backed at 3.90 to score a try at anytime.

Bulldogs out to end Magic Round hoodoo

The Bulldogs are having a great season and they will be out to end a Magic Round hoodoo in 2025.

They have lost all five Magic Round games, but get a great opportunity to snap that streak against the Titans.

Canterbury do have a great record against the Titans, winning four of the last five fixtures against them.

They can be backed at 3.25 to win the game by 1-12 points, or 2.00 to run wild and win by 13+ points.

However the Bulldogs will have to do it with influential trio Matt Burton, Josh Curran and Sitili Tupouniua, who are all suspended for the game.

Bronson Xerri has five tries to his name this season, and is 10.00 to score the first of the game.
