Newcastle Knights will be out to turn the tables on Cronulla Sharks when the two sides clash in the NRL at McDonald Jones Stadium on Sunday.
The Knights have struggled against the Sharks in recent seasons and will be hoping to end the hoodoo on Easter Sunday.
They are also looking to bounce back from a disappointing 20-4 home defeat against Wests Tigers last weekend.
Cronulla are back in the east after their successful trip to Perth last week that resulted in a narrow 24-18 victory over Manly Sea Eagles.
However, they are still some way off where they want to be and another two points against the Knights will be the order of the day.
Both sides currently sit outside the top eight and the first objective will be to get back in there as soon as possible.
The Knights have just two victories to their name this season and need to get their act together if they are to play finals.
They were disappointing on home soil against the Tigers last week, losing 20-4, only scoring one try and that came right at the death.
Newcastle will be desperate to reward their home faithful with a victory here and can be backed at 4.50 to win by 1-12 points.
The Knights do have the second-best defensive record in the NRL, but scoring points has been an issue, indeed, they have scored a total of a mere 10 points over their last three games.
They are boosted by the return of Tyson Gamble, who will play in the halves, while James Schiller is also back in place on the wing.
Schiller can be backed at 11.00 to score the first try, or 2.60 to score at anytime.
The Sharks have a great record against the Knights, having won four of the past five meetings between these two sides.
They have won three and lost three this season but, after beating Manly in Perth last week, should be full of confidence heading into the game.
In Round 24 last season the Sharks won via golden point, but will be hoping for a more convincing success on this occasion and they are 2.25 to win by 13+ points.
Briton Nikora seems to enjoy playing at McDonald Jones Stadium, having scored four tries in his last three outings at the venue, and he can be backed at 2.80 to score another at anytime against the Knights.
