New Zealand Warriors v Brisbane Broncos: NRL Saturday Preview

New Zealand Warriors and Brisbane Broncos will be out to bounce back from last-start defeatson Saturday when they clash at Go Media Stadium.

The Warriors suffered a 42-14 defeat at Melbourne Storm last weekend, and will be delighted to be back on home soil.

Two of their three wins have been on home soil, and they will need the venue to be a fortress once again when they take on the Broncos.

Brisbane were far from their best when suffering a shock home defeat against the Sydney Roosters like week.

They have had time to lick their wounds and are expected to come out firing in Auckland on Easter Saturday.

Warriors look for home comforts

The Warriors have made a solid start to the 2025 NRL season, winning three of their opening five games to sit in sixth place on the ladder.

They will suffered a heavy defeat against the Storm, but get the chance to bounce back when they face the Broncos.

Their two home wins saw them see off the Manly Sea Eagles 36-16 and the Sydney Roosters 14-6, and they can be backed at 4.50 to beat the Broncos by 1-12 points.

Ali Leiataua has been in good form at Go Media Stadium, scoring four tries in the last four games there.

The centre can be backed at 15.00 to score the first try or 2.85 to score at anytime.

The Warriors will have to pull off the win without star forward James Fisher-Harris, who is out with a pectoral injury.

Broncos look to respond

The Broncos need a quick-fire response to the loss against the Roosters, and they have had mixed results in New Zealand.

They have won three of the past four games there, but last won in Auckland way back in 2019.

That was a hard-fought 8-2 win, and they can be backed at 3.25 to win by 1-12 points. A victory by 13+ points is priced at 2.20.

Jesse Arthars is currently the NRL’s leading tryscorer with eight tries to his name, and is sure to be a big threat once again.

Arthars can be backed at 1.65 to score a try at anytime.

The Broncos have been handed a boost by the return of Jordan Riki from suspension.
