NRL outright odds: Storm clouds clear in premiership race

The 2025 NRL regular season has passed the halfway stage and the competition could not be tighter.

You could throw a blanket over the top four teams on the ladder, and it is difficult to predict who will win the 2025 NRL grand final.

There will be plenty of twists and turns before the season is done, and the aim of the game is to hit your peak when finals arrive.

Let’s take a look at the latest Grand Final outright odds.

NRL Outright

NRL outright odds

Melbourne Storm - 2.60
Canterbury Bulldogs - 4.50
Canberra Raiders - 7.00
New Zealand Warriors - 10.00
Penrith Panthers - 21.00

Melbourne Storm - 2.60

Melbourne Storm have been inconsistent so far this season, winning eight and losing four, but are still in touch with the top of the ladder.

The Storm will be happy nonetheless and super coach Craig Bellamy knows that it’s all about hitting top form when finals come around.

Armed with a strong roster of top-class players, the Storm are still seen by most as the team to beat this season.

Canterbury Bulldogs - 4.50

The Bulldogs continue to impress in 2025 when winning nine games and losing just two.

However the defeats were heavy against Brisbane Broncos and the Dolphins, so the jury is still out on their premiership credentials.

The addition of highly-rated playmaker Lachlan Galvin midway through the season, could prove to be a game changer.

Canberra Raiders - 7.00

The Raiders have been the surprise package of the season so far as they sit top of the ladder with 11 wins and three losses.

Tipped by some not to even make the eight this season, the Green Machine have already proven the doubters wrong.

The Raiders have already beaten the Melbourne Storm and New Zealand Warriors this season, and have shown they are capable of winning the tight games.

New Zealand Warriors - 10.00

The Warriors have also shown they are a force to be reckoned with in 2025 when winning 10 games and losing just three.

The 40-10 demolition of Cronulla at Shark Park on Sunday showed that they are the real deal this season and can contest for the premiership.

Home advantage in Auckland will be crucial for them and a top-four finish and home finals will be crucial.

Penrith Panthers - 21.00

The reigning premiers maybe down in 13th spot on the ladder following a turbulent 2025, but it would take a brave man to right them off.

An 18-14 win over Wests Tigers showed they still have the stomach for the fight, and they are still in touch with the top eight.

If the Panthers make finals then anything can happen and a fifth straight premiership is still a possibility.
