Melbourne Storm v Wests Tigers: NRL Sunday preview

Melbourne Storm will look to bounce back to winning ways in the NRL when they take on a Wests Tigers side brimming with confidence.

The Storm's premiership credentials have been questioned as they slipped to their second defeat in three games against at the weekend.

A golden-point loss against Canberra Raiders would have been hard to take, but there is no time to feel sorry for themselves.

Meanwhile, the Tigers will be buzzing after picking up back-to-backs wins against St George/Illawarra Dragons and Cronulla Sharks.

Another against the Storm will prove they really are the real deal, however, they do not have a great record in Melbourne.

Now would be a great time to snap the losing streak, and the games has all the makings for a classic.

Bellamy demands a response

Storm head coach Craig Bellamy has been calling for an immediate response to the loss against the Raiders at Magic Round.

The Storm threw away a winning position, before suffering heartbreak in golden point.

They bounced back from defeat against the Dolphins to beat South Sydney Rabbitohs and should come out firing again.

Melbourne have a great record against the Tigers, winning their last seven meetings, including a 12-point victory last season.

Bellamy's men will be out for a more convincing success this time around and are priced at 1.70 to win by 13+ points.

Nick Meaney has a good record against the Tigers, scoring six tries in his last seven games against them.

The centre is priced at 3.20 to score another at anytime on Sunday.

Tigers on a high

Wests Tigers continue to shine this season, but will have to be at their very best to get a result in Melbourne.

Victoria has not been a happy hunting ground, winning just two games out of 15, but now could be the time to hit back.

The Tigers are a different animal this season and they can be backed at 6.00 to nick a tight game by 1-12 points.

On average they have scored 23 points a game this season and are priced at 1.80 to score over 16.5 against the Storm.

Sunia Turuva has made a huge impact since arriving from Penrith, scoring nine tries in his last eight games.

The winger is 9.50 to grab the first of the game.
