Wests Tigers will hope to put a week of off-field issues behind them by seeing off the Parramatta Eels in the NRL on Easter Monday.

Coach Benji Marshall has opted to leave the playmaker out of his squad altogether and will be hoping the rest of the players can put on a show after a tough week.

Marshall’s side have a great record at CommBank Stadium against the Eels, winning the last three, so they will be out to extend that sequence to four.

They can be backed at 3.25 to win Monday’s clash by either 1-12 or 13+ points.

Sunia Turuva has hit the ground running since arriving from Penrith Panthers and has scored seven tries in his last five games.

The winger is 6.00 to score either the first or last try of the game and is 1.60 to score at anytime.

Eels sit rock-bottom

The Eels gave their supporters some hope for the future with a dramatic golden point win over the St George/Illawarra Dragons, before reverting to type.

Last week they were hammered by the Canterbury Raiders 50-12 to leave them rock bottom of the NRL ladder, with a -123 points differential.

They need some kind of lift, but CommBank is not a happy venue for them, with them having won just two of the last eight games there.

It is not all doom and gloom however as the inspirational Mitch Moses has been named to play his first game of the season.

The skipper could be just the spark the Eels need and he is priced at 4.50 to mark his return with a try at anytime in the game.

It will still be a tough ask for the Eels, who are priced at 3.40 to win the game by 1-12 points.
