Wests Tigers have started the NRL season in fine style and have the chance to pick up their third win when New Zealand Warriors visit on Sunday.
The Tigers are more used to battling at the wrong end of the ladder, but following an injection of new blood now look like top-eight contenders.
Benji Marshall’s side will be keen to keep the good times rolling, and another two points against the Warriors will do just that.
The Warriors have also made a solid start with two wins from three games, but a trip to Campbelltown Sports Stadium will be a real test.
They do not have a great record at the venue and will need to improve to leave with the points.
Wests Tigers are finally giving their long-suffering supporters something to smile about after starting the season with two wins from three.
They now get the chance to pick up three straight wins for the first time since 2018 and confidence should be high.
The new arrivals have made a huge difference and Sunia Turuva is one of them.
Turuva has scored six tries in his last four NRL games and the winger can be backed at 7.50 to score the first on Sunday, or 1.83 to score at anytime.
But it is not in scoring points where the Tigers have made the biggest improvement, it is in defence.
They once had one of the worst defensive records in the NRL, now, after three games this season, they have the best.
The Tigers are priced at 3.25 to win by either 1-12 or 13-24 points.
Just like the Tigers, New Zealand Warriors bounced back from a Round 1 defeat to win the next two games.
They pulled off impressive wins over Manly Sea Eagles and Sydney Roosters on home soil, but now need to take that form on the road.
Campbelltown Stadium has been a graveyard for them, winning just one out of the last six visits, so they need to step up.
However, they have won the last seven meetings between the two sides, when not at Campbelltown.
If they are to stretch that to eight, they can be backed at 3.50 to win by 1-12 points.
