Australia continue their preparations for the first Test against the British & Irish Lions when take on Fiji on Sunday.
The Lions are sweeping aside all that is put before them on their tour down under and the Wallabies will be desperate to stop them in their tracks.
A convincing performance against Fiji would be a good place to start, but they have already been hit by a number of key injuries.
It is hoped the injury list will have cleared by the time they face the Lions in Brisbane later this month, but it will be a weakened side that faces the Islanders.
Even so, the Wallabies are still the hot fancies to get the job done in Newcastle, and nothing other than a comfortable win will do.
The Wallabies have been hit by the news that Will Skelton, Rob Valetini and Jake Gordon will all miss this clash through injury.
Lock Skelton and flanker Valetini both have calf issues, while halfback Gordon has a niggling hamstring injury.
The Wallabies are hopeful they will make the first Test against the Lions, but for now they are taking no risks.
This is the only Test before they face the Lions, so it is important to pick up a big win to build some momentum and confidence.
A close game is being anticipated however and the Wallabies are 6.50 to win the game by 6-10 points.
It is a big day for rugby league convert Joseph Suaalii, who will make his first Wallabies appearance on home soil.
Suaalii can be backed at 2.37 to mark the occasion by score a try at anytime.
Winger Harry Potter will also be out weave some magic and is priced at 11.00 to score the first try, or 1.90 to score at anytime.
Fiji know what it is like to beat the Wallabies, having done so the last time they met at the 2023 World Cup.
They triumphed 22-15 on that occasion and can be backed at 6.50 to claim victory by 1-12 points on Sunday.
Former Hurricanes winger Salesi Rayasi will be among the familiar faces in the Fiji team when he lines up at fullback.
