The sixth race of the day at Wyong is a 1350m Benchmark 64 handicap set to take place on a heavy 8 surface.
Tommy Berry’s mount Trapeze Pleasure is expected to feature prominently in the market having been allocated an inside alley here.
The four-year-old has made just five starts to date, including when saluting by half-a-length in an 1150m maiden at Newcastle in October last year.
The gelding was spelled subsequently and he resumed with a five-length seventh of eight in a Class 1 event held over 1000m at Kembla Grange in June.
The son of Trapeze Artist showed marked improvement when racing at this venue subsequently, however, losing out by a narrow margin when runner-up here on 25th July.
The step up to 1200m appeared to suit when contesting a Benchmark 64 handicap that day and he shaped as if the extra distance he tackles here will be no issue.
There’s a concern about the gelding’s ability to handle the forecast heavy 8 going however and Tracey Bartley’s SEBRENCO is preferred on this occasion.
The mare has delivered some solid efforts this prep and has been allocated barrier five for this event.
Those efforts include a fifth when beaten just over five lengths in a Benchmark 72 handicap held over 1300m at Rosehill at the end of June.
The 6.00 pick raced on a heavy track that day and has placed third in two of her three subsequent outings.
Those third-place finishes include a four-and-a-half-length defeat when contesting a Benchmark 64 handicap at Kembla Grange just over a week ago.
Alysha Collett’s mount is the winner of her only previous start at this venue and is taken to return to winning ways.

The Jack Bruce-trained Patton is set to shoulder top weight in this contest having performed well in metro contests in the past.
Those metro efforts include a Class 5 win when racing over 1350m at Doomben in February.
The gelding is set to make his synthetic track debut here, however, and made the perfect start to this prep with a win in a seven-runner 1350m event at Ipswich last month.
The six-year-old took out a Benchmark 78 handicap that day and he drops in grade for trainer Jack Bruce.
However, VETTA VELOCITA boasts winning form on synthetic surfaces and is the selection in this event.
Trained by Stuart Kendrick, the gelding has won twice since finishing third in a 1200m Benchmark 65 handicap on the Gold Coast polytrack in June.
While the first of those victories came at Rockhampton, he arrives here on the back of a narrow margin in a 1200m Benchmark 72 handicap on the turf course here on 4th August.
The 6.00 selection was partnered by Bailey Wheeler that day and he retains the ride for this race.
The pair are set to jump from next to the rail and they look capable of completing a double.
They are set to race on a soft 6 surface at Moruya with the concluding race of the day a 1210m Benchmark 58 handicap.
STRAIGHT FIRE takes the eye here having won two of his five starts to date.
Both of his previous victories have come over around this distance, including when saluting by just over half-a-length in a Wagga maiden in February.
The filly went on to place second at Goulburn and was spelled following a down the field effort in a Benchmark 74 handicap over 1400m at Albury in March.
The 4.00 daughter of Vancouver appeared to appreciate the switch to a wet track when successful in a Benchmark 58 handicap on a heavy 8 track at Gundagai on 6th August.
The slightly quicker going expected here is no issue and Todd Smart’s filly is taken to record a win under Billy Owen.
