Auckland FC and Western Sydney Wanderers will put their recent unbeaten records on the line when they clash at Go Media Stadium on Saturday.

In their very first season in the A-League, Auckland are riding high at the top of the ladder and are currently on a 10-game unbeaten streak going into this weekend’s clash.

Western Sydney currently reside in fifth place in the standings and are on a seven-game unbeaten run ahead of their trip to Go Media Stadium on Saturday.

Auckland out for the double

The first time these sides crossed swords was back in January, with Auckland battling their way to a 1-0 win at Bankwest Stadium thanks to a 90th-minute goal from Neyder Moreno.

Moreno has scored seven goals in total in the A-League this season and the Colombian is 2.87 in the anytime goalscorer market to strike again against the Wanderers this weekend.

Auckland had been on a three-game streak of drawing games but managed to get back to winning ways last time out with a 2-0 win at Brisbane Roar.

Looking to make it back-to-back wins and complete a league double against Western Sydney, Auckland are 1.95 to beat the Wanderers on Saturday.

Wanderers tough on the road

Western Sydney have enjoyed an impressive run of form on their travels, with their last away defeat in the A-League coming back in late November with a 4-2 defeat at Sydney FC.

Since then, the Wanderers have gone eight away games unbeaten in the A-League, winning five of those matches and drawing the other three.

Alen Stajcic and his side will head to Go Media Stadium confident they can continue their unbeaten run and cause the frontrunners some issues this weekend.

The in-form Wanderers to win or draw is available at 1.80 in the double chance market, while the visitors are 3.90 to head back across the Tasman with the three points.
