Benfica will hope to secure their spot in the knockout stages of the Club World Cup when they face Bayern Munich in Charlotte in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The Lisbon Eagles ended the domestic season second in the Portuguese top-flight, but they may have found some confidence after winning their first game in five after beating Auckland.

Lage's troops have scored in 17 consecutive matches in all competitions, so both teams to score seems like a safe play at 1.70.

They are three points clear of Boca and will advance with a draw, which can be backed at 3.00.

Bavarians still have work to do

Bayern's place in the round of 16 has already been confirmed, but Kompany's outfit will still be eager to finish top of Group C.

The Bavarians only need one point to secure top spot, meaning they will play the runners-up of either Group B, D, F or H.

The German outfit will believe they can record a positive result, having stayed unbeaten against Benfica in their last seven meetings.

They have won six of those games and scored 20 goals in the process, so a Bayern victory and over 2.5 goals appeals at 3.10.

Kompany has helped his team avoid defeat in their last nine fixtures and they have scored three or more goals in five of their previous seven in all competitions.
