Mariners are on the up

While their results in the AFC Champions League have not been going according to plan, the Mariners do head into Friday’s game on the back of back-to-back A-League wins over the Newcastle Jets and Sydney FC.

That’s something boss Carl Veart will be looking to change on Friday and his team certainly look capable of giving the reigning champions a more competitive game.
