Palace did Liverpool a favour in drawing with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal but in reality, it only seems to be a matter of time before the Merseysiders lift the trophy.

The Reds have enjoyed their previous meetings with Tottenham at Anfield, scoring exactly four goals in all of their last three meetings with Spurs at this famous ground.

Liverpool earned a 6-2 win over Tottenham when they last met in the Premier League down in north London and the Reds are 1.27 favourites to get the victory in the early hours of Monday morning.

Spurs eyeing major upset

Languishing down in 16th place on the Premier League ladder, it’s been a disastrous domestic campaign for Spurs.

Impressing in the UEFA Europa League on their way to the semi-finals, Postecoglou’s men have not been able to replicate those positive performances in the Premier League.

A win at Anfield would certainly relieve some pressure on the Australian tactician but Anfield has not been a happy hunting ground for Spurs over the years.

Last winning at Liverpool in May 2011, Spurs have failed to win any of their last 15 visits to the home of the Reds.

Spurs are 11.00 to end that winless run at Anfield on Monday, while former Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke is available at 4.00 to score against his former employers and 13.00 to bag the opening goal of the game.
