A-League strugglers Perth Glory will welcome a familiar face back to town when they play host to Alen Stajcic's Western Sydney Wanderers on Tuesday.
Stajcic was in charge of the Glory last season, but he departed the club after they finished bottom of the standings before quickly taking up his current position with Western Sydney.
Things are not going much better for Stajcic's replacement at HBF Park, David Zdrilic, as he has led his side to just two wins in 13 league games this season and their tally of eight points leaves them just one off the bottom of the standings.
Wanderers are fairing considerably better in eighth and they can move to within two points of the Finals Series positions with a victory in Western Australia.
It is fair to say that Stajcic did not enjoy the best of times in the Glory dugout, as his one season in charge saw them win just five league games as they finished rock bottom of the standings and four points adrift of nearest rivals Western United.
However, the 51-year-old appears to be enjoying far more success with Western Sydney, who have lost just one of their last six matches in the A-League, while they have taken seven points from the last nine available on the road.
That impressive away run includes victories at the homes of the current top two - Melbourne City and Adelaide United - with the latter of those successes seeing them come from 2-0 down to claim a 3-2 win at the end of last month.
That comeback success underlines the task awaiting the Glory on Tuesday and the hosts do not have a good record on home soil, losing six of their seven A-League games at HBF Park this season.
They did pick up their first home points of the campaign last time out though, as Jaylan Pearman's first-half goal helped them to a surprise 1-0 success over Auckland FC, but that was their first home win in the league since last February and may prove to be something of an exception.
Western Sydney are 1.61 to win this match and if Stajcic were to claim a victory against his former club, then that would add to the growing pressure surrounding his successor Zdrilic.
It doesn't take too much digging to uncover why the Glory are struggling again this season, as they hold both the leakiest defence in the division, conceding 33 times to date, while their tally of eight goals scored is comfortably the lowest of any side.
Western Sydney have no such problems when it comes to finding the back of the net, as their total of 26 goals scored is bettered by only two other sides, while they have netted in all 11 league games they have played this season.
The problem for Wanderers is they also concede at regular intervals, as they have kept just one clean-sheet to date in the league, and that has led to them being involved in some high-scoring matches.
Eight of Western Sydney's last nine games have seen at least four goals scored, including in each of their last five, and although that means they could have something of a field day against Perth's backline, it also suggests they may be defensively vulnerable even when facing the division's worst attack.
It is 2.00 for four or more goals to be scored at HBF Park on Tuesday and with Western Sydney's record at both ends of the pitch, there should be plenty of entertainment on show.
Western Sydney also boast two of the league's leading marksmen this season, with Nicolas Milanovic having netted six times in 11 games and Brandon Borrello finding the back of the net on five occasions.
Both players are priced at 2.40 to add to their tallies on Tuesday.
