As the battle for a top-four finish continues, Ange Postecoglou will be determined to see his side build on their 4-0 thrashing of Manchester City when they host Fulham on Saturday night.

Postecoglou’s job is to try and get his side more consistent, which will be required if they are to have a chance of finishing in the top four and securing a return to the UEFA Champions League.

Having lost 3-0 to Fulham in their last meeting at Craven Cottage last season, revenge might well be a motivator for this weekend’s clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs are unbeaten in their last six home games against Fulham, winning four and drawing two times in that spell.

With that in mind, it’s understandable why Spurs are the 1.70 favourites for the three points on Saturday.

Fulham seeking a response

Sat up in ninth place on the ladder, Fulham have enjoyed a solid start to the season under manager Marco Silva.

Earning back-to-back wins over Brentford and Crystal Palace, Fulham were brought back down to earth with a 4-1 hammering by strugglers Wolves at Craven Cottage last time out.

An uncharacteristic performance from Silva’s side, the Portuguese tactician will be determined to see his side respond on Saturday and cause an upset in north London.
