The UEFA Champions League continues on Thursday morning, with nine fixtures planned in the final round before Christmas.

Arne Slot's Liverpool have set the standard so far, collecting maximum points, but Thursday's games will give the likes of Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal the chance to keep tabs on the Reds.

Thriller expected in Dortmund

The pick of Thursday's games is the clash between Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona at BVB Stadion Dortmund.

Hansi Flick's outfit, who are 2.00 to collect all three points, have won four of their first five games to collect 12 points and only their superior goal difference puts them ahead of the Bundesliga club.

Nuri Sahin's men are unbeaten in four coming into Thursday's game, but they have been held to 1-1 draws in their last two outings by Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach.

Barcelona were also only able to collect a point against Real Betis in a 2-2 draw, but they have won four games in a row in Europe, scoring 17 goals in the process.

Wounded City face difficult away trip

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City had hoped they had turned a corner when beating Nottingham Forest 3-0 in midweek, but they were brought back down to earth when drawing 2-2 with Crystal Palace.

City are now fourth in the Premier League table, while in Europe, they are 18th after collecting eight points from five matches.

Thankfully for City, hosts Juventus are also on eight points and are 19th ahead of their showdown in the UEFA Champions League.

Juve, who are 3.75 to pick up all three points on Thursday, are unbeaten in nine games, but seven of those matches have ended in draws.

Another stalemate is available at 3.50, while City could be considered a little short in the market at 2.00 after winning just one of their last nine games in all competitions.

Gunners may have their work cut out

Arsenal will look to extend their unbeaten run to seven matches when they host Monaco on Thursday at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners, 1.30 to win, were held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham in their last league encounter, but they were dominant in their previous European tie, beating Sporting Lisbon 5-1 on the road.

Arsenal's sole defeat in the competition came away from home against Inter Milan, and they have kept two clean sheets in their only two ties in London.

However, Monaco are hot on their tail and only one place behind them, with both teams currently in the top eight of the table.

The French outfit, who are 10.00 to win in London, bounced back from successive defeats to beat Toulouse 2-0 on Saturday. Monaco have already beaten Barcelona 2-1 this season in Europe, but they only have one win to their name on their travels.

A home win and both teams to score is priced at 2.00, while Monaco double chance is available at 3.40.

Arsenal have numerous injuries in defence to contend with, as Oleksandr Zinchenko, Gabriel and Riccardo Calafiori are all doubts, while Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu are ruled out due to knee injuries.
